PlayNetwork Announces Key Staff Promotion


Integrated media experience provider taps David Brewster and Sue Hoover for leadership roles

Redmond, WA (August 28, 2007) -

PlayNetwork Inc., the leading provider of integrated media experiences for business, announced today two strategic promotions. David Brewster has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing and Creative Services, and Sue Hoover has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration.

In his new role, Brewster will manage the creative direction of the organization as well as key customer accounts. Brewster and his team will drive all aspects of the company’s marketing and public relations strategy for all of PlayNetwork’s business units – music and messaging, promotional services, systems integration, and video media services – along with directing the efforts of the content programming and licensing groups. As Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration, Hoover will assume direct responsibility for day-to-day operations of the company’s finance, administration and human resources functions.

Brewster joined PlayNetwork in July 2005 after a period of business consulting work and was appointed Senior Vice President, Promotional Services later that year. Previously, Brewster directed the music and entertainment business at Starbucks Coffee Company, helping to craft a seamless customer experience with the Starbucks brand through music at multiple touch points, including in-store programming, custom compilation CDs, targeted sponsorships, and through the retail operations of Hear Music stores and website. David's previous career was in trade book publishing, with roles in editorial, sales, and marketing for Houghton Mifflin Co., Beacon Press and Penguin.

Hoover joined PlayNetwork in 2006 to lead the finance and accounting department. She oversees the company's cash management and financial reporting as well as relationships and coordination with financial institutions and independent auditors. Sue brings more than 20 years of finance and administration experience. Prior to PlayNetwork, Sue was Vice President of Finance and Administration for Seattle-based Saltmine Inc., a web design and service company. Sue has served as VP of Finance and CFO for a number of companies, including Verispan, LLC and Quintiles Transnational Corp., developing and implementing financial strategies in a variety of industries including health care, travel and Internet media.
