PlayNetwork's Customized Music Programming Keeps Taco Cabana Customers in Festive Mood

PlayNetwork Inc. today announced it is providing custom music for Taco Cabana, Inc. creating a zesty signature sound for patrons to enjoy in the more than 130 Taco Cabana restaurants nationwide.
"We wanted to build an emotional connection between our customers and the Taco Cabana brand," said Taco Cabana's VP of marketing, Sandy Salinas. "PlayNetwork has given us the ability to not only further our brand through the music, but personalize it with a flavor specific to our customers in different regions."
After thoroughly assessing the casual restaurant's music needs and branding requirements, PlayNetwork formed a custom programming strategy that aimed at enhancing the "cabana style" legend and character of the brand.
PlayNetwork licenses and distributes original artist music to all of Taco Cabana locations to be played from PlayNetwork’s proprietary playback systems. Although Southwest Americano and Latin inspired music is the centerpiece of the brand nationally, regionally influenced music is also needed to play a role in reflecting Taco Cabana's "casually festive" brand with local interest. PlayNetwork also programs music to accommodate various dining dayparts throughout the day. The Taco Cabana sound remains fresh, adventurous, lightly challenging, politely unpredictable and lots of fun.
