Producer, Branded Music

Long before Julia joined the PlayNetwork team in 2005, she was known as the “Mix-Tape Queen” among her friends and family. As an avid, life-long music fan and performer, as well as pop-culture enthusiast, Julia found her niche designing music for retail environments.

Julia holds degrees in English Literature and Audio Production, in addition to her extensive background in radio and theater, have provided her with a variety of skills and interests. In her spare time, you might find Julia writing and recording music or moonlighting in radio, both behind the scenes and in public, as a broadcast engineer and voice-over actor for commercial and non-commercial radio.

Julia’s musical knowledge and experience extends through many genres from classic jazz to indie rock. Her diverse expertise suits her well when designing custom music for her vast array of fashion-forward clients.

In addition to programming music for brands, Julia is also the voice behind many retailers’ in-store announcements and on-hold messages.
