Bring to life the excitement created by the Under Armour brand for their flagship retail concept store. Design and develop a compelling aural and visual experience that simulates the feeling of being at the big game, and drives a deep and rich connection with their sports oriented customers.

The Experience:

From an innovative sound system embedded in the tunneled entrance, to the unified 40-inch LCD displays acting as one stunning visual panel, to the eye-popping 120-inch suspended translucent screen, the space rocks and rumbles with the intensity of a packed sports stadium. Custom designed, ceiling rigged speakers that pump out larger than life sound complete the sense of energy and motion throughout the store

The Result:

PlayNetwork’s creative, technological, and collaborative expertise was integral in creating a hallmark destination for Under Armour’s first retail concept store. The coupling of fine-tuned music programming plus innovative design and implementation helped transform Under Armour’s brand identity into an enduring loyalty through a powerful media experience that connects them with their customers. As a result of this inspiring concept, Under Armour was awarded “Retail Store Design of the Year” by Chain Store Age in 2007.
