On this day in 1962, The Beatles entered EMI studios in London and laid down their very first single. The song was, of course, “Love Me Do” with “P.S. I Love You” recorded as the B-side. The rest, as you know, is history. Obviously, The Beatles pre-dated the practice of recording music videos to accompany single releases, but I did manage to find this video, along with many others, on YouTube. Enjoy!
