This week i’m going to put a little spin on the Daily Dose. Each day will be a “new” clip, from an artist most commonly associated with a particular decade. Today’s clip comes from Julian Plenti, better known as Paul Banks, best known as the lead singer for Interpol. Why is he calling himself Julian Plenti? I don’t know, but i do know that i love this record. It shouldn’t disappoint Interpol fans, and what’s more, it doesn’t sound exactly like Interpol. Otherwise, what would be the point, right? As far as i know, Interpol are still together but until they get it together, this is a suitable substitute. It succeeds in bringing something new to the table, without selling out and working with Kanye or whoever else is trendy at the moment. Thanks Paul…er…Julian!
