Well, i learned yesterday that my beloved Bunnymen have lost yet another member to a motorcycle accident. Jake Brockman died yesterday, and while not an official member of Echo & The Bunnymen, he was the official 5th Bunnyman having been with the group for the better part of 3 decades.
However, in keeping with the theme of The Dose, i must present something from the 60’s. So i chose The Doors for today, as they’ve had no small amount of influence on The Bunnymen, as well as soundtracking a good chunk of my High School years! Here’s ‘People Are Strange’ from The Ed Sullivan Show.

20 years ago, original Bunnymen drummer Pete de Freitas died on his motorcycle. Look for his picture on the video screen in this next clip. Here’s a recent performance of ‘Ocean Rain’.
