British-French actor and singer Charlotte Gainsbourg has been in the limelight from an early age, thanks in large part to her famous parents: English actress and singer Jane Birkin and French actor and singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg. As an actor, she has won awards for her films, but her true passion has always been music. Her new single (released December 2018) showcases her unique sense of vocalization, as well as her love of electronica.

Mixing elements of 70s Soul, Yacht Rock and Electro pop, this Australian band (now based in Germany) has a cool vibe that feels like they are making musical waves. Their self-produced debut album, Parcels, has all the makings of a classic, and their new single “Closetowhy” will have you breaking out your old Captain and Tenielle records thinking of the long summer days to come.

Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri this band has gone through numerous line-up changes. While lineup changes often mean the end for a band, this has not been the case for Foxing. I believe that their third studio album, Nearer My God, is their best; taking their emotional peaks to the next level with complicated synth sounds and lyrics.
