Today’s one hit wonder comes courtesy of techno-pop singer Jyoti Prakash Mishra, aka White Town. The song “Your Woman” quickly hit number one in his home country, England and made it to a respectable number 23 here in the US when it was released in 1997. Sadly, despite recording albums well into this decade, White Town has never been able to match his early success. “Your Woman” is one of my favorite songs and the video is a great match to the lyrics.
